As a small boy I loved helping out in my father's business. That is how I rolled into the trade, back in 1976. It still suits me fine.
The fun of the bike trade is that it keeps reinventing itself, so I keep a close eye on new developments and products. When the internet arrived and buying bikes and parts online became normal, I (Helmich) joined in. We are a dealer for the Dutch bike brands Avalon and Pointer, for the electric bikes of Vogue (2026 models only) and Avalon, for the children's bikes of Bike Fun Kids, Kyoso and Volare, and more recently for Ouxi Fat-bike.

The shop
You will find us at Aalburgplein 7a in Hoofddorp, in the Floriande district, next to the HEMA. In the shop we run special offers for customers who come by. Feel free to call 023-5619414 beforehand to ask whether a bike or product is in stock — then you never come for nothing.
Also mad about football
You will come across our name beside the pitch as well. We have a board along the touchline — because a shop in the neighbourhood belongs in the neighbourhood.
