About this product
In the CDN range, the carbon fibres of the belt are embedded in a polymer-based plastic. With the CDN components the emphasis is more on low-maintenance operation than on an extremely long life compared with the other Gates ranges. Even so, the belt still lasts on average one and a half times as long as an ordinary bike chain. The CDN system is therefore a particularly affordable way into Gates technology.
The CDN system is developed especially for city and everyday bikes: bikes that are used in all weathers and are often parked outside or at the station, bikes where low maintenance and reliability matter most. The CDN system is a quiet, clean and low-maintenance drive for daily urban use, based on the same carbon fibre technology as the top Gates components.
